Ingredients

Sourdough Pancakes

poolish starter (see my old video on sourdough here https://youtu.be/G9Tv1weSGf4 )

2 tbsp poolish starter (see my old video on sourdough here https://youtu.be/G9Tv1weSGf4 )

flour

¾ cup flour

butter milk

1 cup butter milk

egg

1 whole egg

baking powder

2 tbsp baking powder

kosher salt

pinch kosher salt

white sugar

1 tbsp white sugar

vanilla paste

tsp vanilla paste

melted butter

2 tbsp melted butter

Regular Pancakes

flour

1 cup flour

butter milk

1 cup butter milk

egg

1 whole egg

baking powder

2 tbsp baking powder

kosher salt

pinch kosher salt

white sugar

1 tbsp white sugar

vanilla paste

tsp vanilla paste

melted butter

2 tbsp melted butter

Step 1

For regular cakes just remove the poolish and make it 1 cup flour instead.
