Ingredients

Biscuits

flour

425 g flour

baking powder

14 g baking powder

salt

11 g salt

cold cubed butter

170 g cold cubed butter

butter milk

290 g butter milk

Egg Wash

egg

1 egg

water

1 tbsp water

Chicken/Marinade

buttermilk

4 cups buttermilk

tapatio hot sauce

¼ cup tapatio hot sauce

salt

1 tbsp salt

chicken thighs

1 lbs chicken thighs

Dredge

All Purpose Flour

2 cups All Purpose Flour

corn starch

¼ cup corn starch

paprika

2 tbsp paprika

onion powder

1 tbsp onion powder

garlic powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

black pepper

2 tbsp black pepper

kosher salt

4 tbsp kosher salt

Step 1

-mix all the dry ingredients with the butter until butter turn pea sized

Step 2

-mix in butter milk

Biscuits

Step 3

-roll out on a floured surface and give about three folds.

-cut into equal sizes and put on a greased parched sheet tray.

-brush lightly with egg wash

Step 6

-bake at 425°F for 4x4x4 minutes turning each time.

-remove and brush with melted butter

Step 8

(Fry in 325°F peanut oil)
