4 quart yellow onion julienned
1 lb unsalted butter
1 cup flour
2 quart stock (i used chicken and turkey)
rice vinegar to taste
black pepper to taste
salt to taste
bread for crouton
gruyere cheese to garnish before baking (i did Parmesan)
chives to garnish
