In this video I will be making mesquite smoked beef jerky with some Flakey Salt.

Ingredients

carne asada beef

1 slice carne asada beef

salt

1 tbsp salt

pink curing salt #1

1 tsp pink curing salt #1

Spiceology Mesquite Peppercorn Blend

¼ cup Spiceology Mesquite Peppercorn Blend

soy sauce

1 cup soy sauce

Worcestershire

1 cup Worcestershire

brown sugar

½ cup brown sugar

Step 1

mix all ingredients till smooth and marinade beef in liquid for at least 12 hours.

¼ cup Spiceology Mesquite Peppercorn Blend

soy sauce

1 cup soy sauce

Worcestershire

1 cup Worcestershire

brown sugar

½ cup brown sugar

Step 2

remove from marinade and slice into equal parts.

Step 3

(For smoker) smoke at 165°F for about 40-50 minutes

(For dehydrator) dehydrate at 155°F for about 1 1/2 -2 hours.

Step 5

store in airtight container.
