Ingredients

Dough

¼ cup Flour

¼ cup sugar

½ tbsp Yeast

½ tbsp Salt

2 whole eggs

¼ cup whole milk

9 tbsp butter

Filling

6 tbsp melted butter

¼ cup brown sugar

⅛ cup white sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

3 cup Powdered Sugar

½ cup Heavy Cream

1 vanilla extract

Step 1

For the Dough

Step 1

put all ingredients except the butter into the mixer and mix till combined

½ tbsp Yeast

½ tbsp Salt

2 whole eggs

¼ cup whole milk

Stand mixer

Step 2

add butter in seperate increments until fully combined.

6 tbsp melted butter

Step 3

beat for about four minutes.

Step 4

put dough into a greased bowl and cover to let proof at room temp fo two hours.

put onto a greased sheet tray with parchment and flatten out with oiled hands.

Step 6

cover with plastic wrap and toss in fridge overnight

dust a cold surface with flour and set dough atop then dust dough with flour.

Flour

Step 8

roll out into 1/4 cm thick sheet and trim the unwanted edges to make a perfect rectangle

Step 9

spread filling evenly on dough edge to edge

Step 10

roll into logs of desired size and cut into desired thickness

Step 11

proof for thirty minutes on a sheet tray with greased parchment or silpat.

Step 12

brush with egg wash and bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Finish with icing and enjoy.

Step 14

For the Filling

Step 1

mix all ingredients till smooth and hold at room temp till it firms up.

¼ cup brown sugar

⅛ cup white sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

Step 2

Do this at least an hour prior to making.

Step 3

For the icing

Step 1

whip all ingredients till smooth.

3 cup Powdered Sugar

½ cup Heavy Cream

1 vanilla extract
